What does the Bible say?
Why is it that homosexuality is a sin? It is very, very clear in the Bible that God does not tolerate homosexual practices. The first indication of this is in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis chapter 19. Two other verses that show that homosexual behavior is condemned by God is in Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13. Chapter 18 verse 22 tells us that homosexual sex is “an abomination” to the Lord. Something that is important to understand is that God does not discriminate between homosexual sex outside of “marriage” or in “marriage;” it’s still homosexual sex, which God strictly forbids.
The main passage in the New Testament that deals with homosexuality is Romans 1:24-27. Here, the Bible describes homosexual desires as “dishonorable passions” and explicitly outlaws homosexual activity between two women or between two men. Most important of all, the Bible soberly declares in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that those who practice homosexuality, along with other types of sin such as immoral heterosexual behavior and robbery, will not “inherit the kingdom of God.”
However, in verse 11, we see that all of these sins, including homosexuality can be forgiven: “And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” Jesus Christ can forgive your sins, whatever they are, if you repent and believe. He can also change your desires and make you a new creation.

At school today we received a packet from you and you are So WRONG.
You are going to get cancer, AIDS, or any other sexual desise if your going to get it.

Kayla,
I won’t go into great detail here but sexual diseases are not just random things you get like the common cold. If fact, God designed marriage to be the place for sexual activity. One man to one woman……guess what??? NO sexual diseases can be found in that type of relationship. There is, however, scientific evidence related to homosexual activity and sexual disease.
In addition to that, this is not a way to a god. This is God’s Word. Not someone’s opinion. As a parent I’ll have to disagree with you about being concerned about the education and religion being taught in the class room. It is very much our concern.
More importantly, we are concerned for your souls. As a parent, my greatest concern is that my children walk in truth.

Give me the evidence for “Christianity is conducive to homosexual behavior.” Give me one, unbiased scrap of evidence, and then I’ll consider believing that.

we are not trying to “force” our beliefs on you. we are simply telling you facts and truths. When we say that there is a risk of getting these diseases, we mean risk. Not a definite, set-in-stone prophesy. We can’t force anyone to do anything. We can only show how what they do is not right.

Dear “ha I laugh at your stupidity”
Did you know, because I’ve read the actual letter written by Thomas Jefferson, the first President to support separation of church and state, that the whole deal was only designed to keep the government out of religion? Nowhere does this separation state that religion must be excluded from government.
